Kuwaitis gone Wild!!!

ok so ramadan is over thank god and now the stores will be open all day and so will the food places and now i can eat and drink in public. so there is a big celebration here after ramadan is over and theses people go crazy and party. So i had this idea and i know this is totally not PC but i always hear about how kuwaiti men slap ppl in public esp indians and philipinos and i am like that shit is crazy slapping grown ass men and they just sit there and take it and it could be over that they guy was looking at the kuwaiti mans wife or parked the wrong way behind him i am crazy stuff. so i want to go around and video tape this stuff and sell it on the internet i know its dumb but it was funny when i was talking about it to my neighbors, i guess u just had to be there. But as of right now my time here has been great i am suppose to go to this place called Fahaheel which is the place to get any thing you want made the way you want and for cheap.

I am trying to learn arabic, indi, and some nigerian language one of my co-workers speaks. but i really need to learn indi cause i work with a lot of indians and it gets really hard to understand them sometimes it drives me crazy and i know i drive them crazy too. its starting to cool down here the high is usually like 98F and the low is like 68F it feels really nice.

ok so last night i went to the gym with my neighbor who is like my big brother(yea i am starting to work out) and we went to drop off his friend and tell me why there was this guy in the parking lot waving a AK in the air i was like you got to be fucking kidding me i thought i had left the ghetto and then as we went down the road we heard a gun shot and then i was like yup i live in the ghetto of kuwait city LOL. I am telling you only in kuwait does crazy shit like this happen.

So the other night the project manager came to talk to the supply section and what he said really made me think...he told us that with out our section soldiers fighting this war would not have the things to survive and make it home alive. And i have always wanted to help people and work for the government but this seems to be the most indirect way it seems but it really made me think that we get so detached from the real reason we are here to work and it is to help and support these soldiers that are risking their lives and when people complain about their job or life here all i say is well atleast you arent up north( that is how they refer to iraq). This really made me think because at the same time when i was at home all i would hear is people complain about the war and everything else but it never seemed real but here i am watching them bring in tanks that look so mangled and burnt up that we fail to realize at times that soldiers, people were in those tanks and hummvees, 5 tons, and other vehicles. and they even find body parts in them as they get ready to repair them and stories i hear on base bring my back to reality of this war torn world. Even though i am a small bit in this system here at my job i make sure that i do my job right cause i would not be able to live with myself if a slacking in my job caused someone harm. I do realize that i am not the one that put them in harms way but this is my part in preventing what i can. i dont know if what i am writing is making any sense but i hope yall understand my point.

But other than this i am doing great, life here is good cant complain my nina spoils me and takes care of me, i have meet some great people that i can hang out with. And for those that wanted to know i think i am coming home between the months of March-May sometime during that time.
